On The Divisiveness Of Art

On The Divisive Philosophy Of Art A conversation I had with Theo Wilson prompted the following meditation on the Philosophy of Art - Something I’d like to eventually do a podcast about: All art is “self” portraiture, and “self” is the source of all division within man, thus, all art is the division of the observer from the observed. Art is what separates the art from the artist. The only reason art exists is because thought separates the observer from the observed, and as soon as there is a divisive space in the middle, there is the interval of time within this space, the time that needs to be covered to see the observed across the divisive space.

Art by The Stoned Ape

Unimperfect on Instagram I lately started painting the visual modalities of the sacred and majestic alien panoramas gushing out the depths of my existence that I saw during my psychedelic states. I didn’t know and contemplate art before this. I researched a bit and learned a few painting techniques and here we are! :) I really love Bob Ross and Bill Alexander. I call Bob Ross God. Is ‘God’ going to make some happy little clouds?
