Happy 4⁄20 fellow Stoned Apes! Today we thank mother Gaia en masse! She created us not so that we can play on it, but so she can play with us. We are her children and in her lap we must take comfort. She will never refuse the warm refuge of her lap. She is our mother, our parent, our guide, and she knows what we need. Nature is the mother.
The absolute first temporal influence of importance upon the mind is that of the Order of Nature. Every morning, the Sun rises and thereafter the Sunset leaning upon the shoulders of the Night and all her stars above carressing with their luminance; ever the blades of grass grows; ever the waters in the stream flows; ever the wind blows; ever he who walks upon clouds knows; ever the man and ever the woman conversing, beholding, and beholden to this marvelous spectacle of Nature.
What is Nature to the mind? The natural mind is the Universal Scholar, having no commencement and no resolution, it settles all esteem in this universal natural mind of the inexplicable discontinuity in the web of existence; the mind of God. Nature has bestowed upon man her own godhood, and therein man resembles her manifestation in spirit and form; the circular power of nature returning unto herself, radiating waves of creation within the modality of cosmic dimensionality.
What is the nature of the mind? Nature renders her account upon the mind in haste in this field of Existence, without center, without circumference, with eclat, en-mass in particle, without form, without discontinuity, a continuous flow of herself. Under the bending dome of day stirring in vain is the mind, unnaturally burdened with the act of reflection.
What is this glimmer in the sightless eye? When I look upon this Natural mind in the light of thought, I discover my life to be entrenched in beauty, embossed in tranquility, and brocaded with affection. Moving forward, as the grass is greener and the clouds are whiter far off, behind me all things take delighting forms. The familiar sorrow soon forgotten, the tragic and terrible are bonny as they take rightful stead upon the mantle holding the pictures of my memories. The soul cannot know this pleasure; neither can it know pain.
Natural is the everlasting mind. Universal is this circumvolving cosmogony of existence inherent to the being. Karmic is his action, being no reaction of the construction of monuments then erected, cherished, and protected in his memory; thus never separating the actor from the act, and the act from the action. Natural is the functioning of this body where there exists no “I”, no “self”, and no “individual”. Unnatural is any mind conditioned to be individual, as existence is unnatural to the act of individual existence.
Is there an order that is not made by thought? Order in nature is not made by man, but exists on its own, as it is Supreme Order. What is order? Is there order which man cannot possibly conceive. Any concept is within thought. The Universe has Supreme Order because it is the symmetry of mathematics. So in the relationship of relationships, there is order of mathematics. It’s order that works in the field of order. But since it is expressed mathematically by thought, it is limited. Is order part of disorder? What is disorder? Can we give a coherent account of disorder? Order always has a connotation within a certain field or frame of reference. What is the order of order?
Order is a relationships of a series of relations. Purpose of order is to not have contradiction. Order is a perception and we can’t get a hold of order. Nothing we can do can bring out order. The doing is what furthers the disorder. Anything that happens has an order. Some order. The mind is severely bruised. So it can’t find order. It wants to find order where it won’t be hurt, or bruised, where it would be psychologically safe. That’s the order we desire and seek. The brain and mind always in contradiction.
Can the mind be free of all organized order? What is organized order? A fixed pattern? Order of patterns? Self-imposed order of patterns, the illusion of order. Can the mind be free from all the impositions, pressures, bruises, trivialities of existence, anxieties, contradictions, whether it be completely free of all that? If it cannot, meditation has no meaning. If it continues to go on like this, life has no meaning. But to find out whether there is a meaning? And if so, can the mind free of that meaning?
What is the source of the disorder within? Does order have an innate intelligence that makes the order? That shows and manifests itself? Is the order natural and disorder is produced by thought?
The Stoned Ape, the organism in his Natural state, is the only Supreme Order of the Universe; Natural; Peaceful; Tranquil, Everlasting and Immortal.
