[jerit] morning stoned whats with the sighing?
[stoned] I didn’t go to see Dennis McKenna yesterday at the Psychedelic Shine event put on by Medicinal Mindfulness.
[stoned] Because I am not an idiot.
[stoned] And the bane of my existence is that I am surrounded by imbeciles and idiots.
[stoned] This is what I posted on my facebook page/group etc. this morning
[stoned] “Did you buy a breathwork meditation? Enlightened yet? How many $$$ until you are?”
[stoned] Because Medicinal Mindfulness sells something goofy called Holotropic Breathwork.
[stoned] And then I made another post…
[stoned] “Listened to keynote speakers? Enlightened yet? How many more events until you are?”
[Nomikos] fair enough
[stoned] Morons. Simple minded simpletons looking for answers from others.
[stoned] And it NEVER comes like that.
[stoned] Go buy your fucking meditation sessions.
[stoned] Go listen to keynote speakers.
[jerit] stoned: it’s amazing how much money there is to be made in telling people that they’re not good enough or that there’s something wrong with them
[stoned] jerit, dude, I AM Indian.
[stoned] The shit I talk about, I could easily market myself to these spiritually bankrupt people.
[stoned] The marketing is already built into me.
[stoned] Sell some Sanskrit words, sound spiritual, blah blah
[stoned] Sure, I could do this.
[stoned] But could I live w/ myself?
[stoned] That’s why I have not done it.
[stoned] This is NOT how to make the world a better place.
[stoned] My own greed… will never make this beautiful planet better.
[jerit] write up recipes for soup and curry n stuff in Sanskrit and sell it as ancient tablets from times when gods walked among us
[stoned] Sir, I put this forth today.
[stoned] IF spirituality could be bought and sold…
[stoned] The rich would be our spiritual guides and gurus…
[stoned] Clearly, they’re not.
[stoned] I tell people to go. Go to those who will sell you truth.
[stoned] I have nothing for you.
[stoned] go buy some truth and become enlightened.
[stoned] Get the fuck outta my face.
[stoned] I’m surrounded by idiots and imbeciles and that’s never going to stop.
[jerit] the irony is that they probably feel the same way about you
[stoned] Of course. People are conditioned to buy a marketed product.
[stoned] You package spirituality, you box it, you label it and you market it to the gullible folk.
[stoned] See, the thing is my dear friend
[stoned] People do NOT want the truth
[stoned] They may say that they want the truth, they may even say it vehemently.
[stoned] But they don’t.
[stoned] The real issue isn’t finding the truth, sir.
[stoned] The real issue is FACING and accepting the truth.
[stoned] Because once we accept the truth, it ends the self.
[stoned] It is the death of all that you know as the I, the Self, the Ego, the individual.
[stoned] But the self, the individual Is ALL that they have.
[stoned] so they don’t want to face the truth.
[stoned] Truth ends one.
[stoned] They want to only romanticize the truth, sir.
[stoned] They ONLY WISH to romanticize the truth, and then chase after it, talk about, exalt it… discuss it…
[stoned] But not face it and accept it.
[stoned] To sell it, to market it, to make money… but not to face and accept it.
[stoned] We want to be romantic w/ truth, and talk about it but not accept it.
[stoned] The truth ends one as one knows.
[stoned] It’s the complete obliteration of the individual.
[stoned] so no. none of these yuppies want the truth
[stoned] they just want to talk about it and feel special among their peers.
[stoned] all of them.
[jerit] you can’t change them and you know that so let it go I say
[stoned] There is no such thing as change.
[stoned] Change is death. nothing else.
[stoned] We evolve biologically, yes?
[stoned] This biological and physical evolution has been transferred
[stoned] WHERE has it been transferred you say?
[stoned] Well, let me tell you all about it.
[stoned] This physical and biological evolution that we go through
[stoned] we have transferred it into our psychology
[stoned] We have now convinced ourselves that there is something called ‘change’
[stoned] Psychological change.
[stoned] Psychological evolution.
[stoned] A gradual change from this to that.
[stoned] That I am less now, but I will e more later.
[stoned] I am not rich now, but if I work at it, I can be rich later.
[stoned] I am not spiritual now, but if I practice meditation. I can be spiritual ater
[stoned] The concept of growth
[stoned] The ideation of change.
[stoned] It’s imported into the psyche from the biological evolution.
[stoned] There is NO such thing as psychological change or evolution.
[stoned] CHANGE is not a time based process.
[stoned] True wisdom is realizing that there is nothing to change, nothing to transform, and nothing to evolve or revolve. Change is a time-based process. It implies a comparison, that something is less now, but will be “more” later. Tbh something else now but will be something else later. So the organism’s thought produces this illusion of a future self to change to, then continues to strive after it everlastingly.
[stoned] To be free of time is to be free of comparison, is to be free of thought. When one is free of thought, there is no such thing as change or stagnation. There is no such thing as spirituality or enlightenment. There is only ever the authentic and true state of the organism.
[stoned] Change is a construct of thought and thought only ever produces conflict. Thought says you are something now, it produces an image of the self, then produces an image of a future self and then compares the two images, and says this is change
[stoned] In reality, even though there is nothing to change, this is not a change. One Don’t change oneself. One can only ever exist in Don’t natural state of being. That can only happen one one realizes that there is nothing to change or transform. That the self is an illusion produced by thought.
[stoned] Change is the absolute ENDING of one thing, and the FRESH NEW BEGINNING of something entirely different. Moving along the same continuum and becoming from THIS to THAT is not change. Making all sorts of actions and thought to bring out change step by step, gradually, is not change. That’s just moving along the same continuum going from one state to another state. That isn’t a change.
[stoned] Change is when one continuum completely ends, and one’s entire reality changes in an instant. Change, therefore, is not a time-based process, but it happens instantly without time.
[stoned] I’m gonna go get stoned.
